The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is preparing to fill more than 10,000 Group ‘C’ posts in various government departments before the Lok Sabha elections next year. The Commission has received proposals for recruitment to more than 28,000 posts, out of which it has completed the examination of proposals for more than 5,000 posts.

The Commission plans to publish advertisements and collect applications from the candidates before the release of Lok Sabha election notification so that the selection process is not disrupted.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently directed the departments to send proposals to the concerned recruitment commissions to fill the vacant posts.

The largest number of vacant posts are of Junior Assistant posts, followed by other posts such as Stenographer, Lekhpal and Revenue Inspector. The Commission is examining the proposals received for other posts and will soon publish advertisements for recruitment at various stages.
