Vande Bharat To Ayodhya: North Central Railway Agra division is going to get another Vande Bharat train. Vande Bharat Express will soon run between Agra and Ayodhya. This will be the fifth train of the Agra division. The 10 coach train will have eight chair cars and two executive class coaches. The fare will be announced by the Indian Railways soon.
At present, four Vande Bharat Expresses are running in Agra. About 1.5 years ago, the first Vande Bharat Express started running between Bhopal and Nizamuddin. After this, Nizamuddin-Khajuraho, Udaipur-Agra, Agra-Varanasi Vande Bharats started operating. In the last six months, the maximum number of passengers have travelled in Agra-Varanasi Vande Bharat.
The distance from Agra to Ayodhya is 440 km. Trains take 10 to 12 hours to cover this distance. As per a Railway Ministry official a large number of devotees travel between Agra and Ayodhya every day. In such a situation, a proposal has been prepared to operate Vande Bharat Express. A year ago, North Central Railway Prayagraj Zone had sent its proposal. Vande Bharat will cover the distance of 440 km in seven to eight hours.
Sleeper Vande Bharat Also Proposed
Agra Railway Division is also going to get the first sleeper Vande Bharat. This train will run between Nizamuddin and Indore. This train is going to be tested soon. The railway official said that the train will have 10 to 12 coaches.
Currently These Trains Run
Marudhar Express, Kota-Patna Express, Guwahati Express, Surat-Muzaffarpur Express, Kamakhya Express, Farakka Express. Marudhar Express takes 10 hours to reach Ayodhya from Agra.
