Vrindavan Temple Viral Video: A recent video circulating on social media has captured the attention of many, showing hundreds of devotees at the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan seeking water from a replica elephant’s mouth. Many believe this water to be "Charan Amrit," or holy water from the feet of Lord Krishna.
In the viral footage, devotees form long queues, eagerly waiting to drink the water that flows from the elephant-shaped tubes integrated into the temple's architecture. This water is viewed by many as sacred, thought to carry the blessings of the revered deity.
Drinking AC water as 'Charanamrit'? Unbelievable. This isn't faith, it's foolishness at full throttle. Ignorance like this proves why education isn't just necessary—it's urgent. Wake up before you end up praying to the plumbing! #DumbnessAtItsPeak pic.twitter.com/8xyvYV4DLZ

However, a YouTube vlogger present at the scene revealed that the water is actually just air-conditioned (AC) water, not the holy Charan Amrit that many had assumed it to be.
The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, with one user commenting, "Drinking AC water as 'Charanamrit'? Unbelievable. This isn't faith, it's foolishness at full throttle. Ignorance like this proves why education isn't just necessary—it's urgent. Wake up before you end up praying to the plumbing!"
As of now, the temple management has not issued any statement regarding the incident. The Banke Bihari Temple, located in Mathura, is a popular pilgrimage site for Lord Krishna, attracting around 10,000 to 15,000 visitors daily.

In another news, the annual Hasanamba Festival in Hassan concluded on Sunday, attracting a record 1.8 million devotees who sought darshan of the presiding deity. The temple doors were ceremoniously closed at noon after traditional rituals, attended by dignitaries including District In-charge Minister K.N. Rajanna and MLA H.P. Swaroop Prakash. This year’s festival created a fair-like atmosphere, benefiting from the long weekend and festive holidays. The temple generated significant revenue, collecting over Rs 8 crore from special entry tickets and sales of laddoos and devotional sarees, marking a successful event.
