There is great news for millions of people in Western Uttar Pradesh. The Ministry of Railways has approved two new passenger trains on the Delhi-Saharanpur route via Baghpat-Shamli. On November 24, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State for Skill Development Jayant Chaudhary will flag off both new passenger trains at the Baraut railway station in Baghpat to commence operations.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leaders have intensified preparations to ensure the success of the ministers' visit. Dr Rajkumar Sangwan, the MP from Baghpat, had previously requested two new passenger trains from the Railway Minister to address the commuting issues faced by passengers on the Delhi-Saharanpur via Baghpat-Shamli route. Accepting his request, the Railway Minister has granted the two new trains.
RLD District President Dr Subhash Gurjar informed that on November 24 at 11:00 am, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister of State for Skill Development and RLD President Jayant Chaudhary will inaugurate the service at Baraut railway station. During the event, they will also address a public meeting at the railway station grounds. The RLD has already begun preparations for this gathering.
Invitations for the public meeting have been extended to RLD MPs, MLAs, former ministers, former MLAs, national and provincial-level District Panchayat presidents and members, current and former Block Pramukhs, chairpersons of civic bodies, and regional office bearers. It is worth noting that the operation of these two new trains will make travel significantly more convenient for the people of Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, Ghaziabad and Delhi.
