The Yamuna Authority (YEIDA City) has decided to bring out another residential plot scheme in the new year, after the success of its previous scheme RPS 07. The new scheme will include about two thousand plots and will also have a plan for society. The scheme will be released in January 2023 and will be carried out in Sector 5, which is close to Noida International Airport and Noida Film City.

The authority has earned more than seven crores from the sale of application forms for RPS 07, which had 1184 plots. The authority had received more than 1.40 lakh applications, out of which more than 1.30 lakh opted for lump sum payments and participated in the lottery held on October 18. However, most of the applicants were disappointed as their dream of settling near the airport and film city could not be fulfilled.
