On the first spot, we have Saudi Arabia’s Dammam which is the most polluted city in the world this year. It is also the fourth most populated city in the country.

Next on the list is Pakistan’s Lahore. It is also one of the most polluted cities in the world and stands at the second spot.

The next on the list is Bangladesh with its capital Dhaka. Dhaka is the third most populated city in the world. It is also a 17th-century old city. 

Delhi

Next is the capital of India, which has made headlines over its population on many occasions. Delhi is in the fourth place on this list. 

Muzaffarnagar

Making it for the second time on the list, India’s other city stands in the fifth position. Muzaffarnagar is the fifth in the world and second most polluted in the country. 

Baghdad

Moving to the next on the list, we have Iraq with its Baghdad city. Baghdad is the sixth most polluted city in the world. 

Ghaziabad

Making a comeback for the third time, India is surely ruling the list. Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad is the seventh most polluted city in the world. 

Patna

Aiming to make a streak, India is yet again on the list with Bihar’s Patna. Patna is the eighth most populated city in the world and the fourth most polluted in India. 

Hapur

Believe it or not, but unfortunately, India won the ill-fated race with its fifth city on this list. Hapur is on the ninth spot for the most polluted cities in the world for this year.
