Just a few days ago, ace cricketer Virat Kohli was making headlines, but not for a World Cup match but for his doppelganger instead. Now, following suit, South Indian sensation Rajinikanth is in the trends, not for his film though, but for his tea-seller doppelganger. A video of the man, who looks a lot like the superstar, surfaced on the internet and instantly broke it as the netizens couldn't get enough of it. Some were too stunt to speak over the resemblance, while others called it Rajni himself and dubbed it some scene from a movie set. The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘despoters_12345’. The post was captioned, “They say that he is a simple person, but now I am surprised that she is also simple.”

The video has been doing rounds on social media ever since it was posted on the internet. Most people were confused and called it a clip from some film’s shooting, while others pointed out some major differences in appearance. The video was posted four days ago and pulled 124K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take on the matter. “Make-up for any function and call and fight,” a user said. “It seems like shooting,” speculated a second user. “Looks like Rajini?” asked a third person. “This is not a superstar. This is a lookalike from Cochin,” said a fourth person. “It's simple, but how did you become a dwarf?” added a fifth user. “He is a common man,” said a sixth netizen. “This is not Rajini,” said another.
