Anand Mahindra’s gift for Praggnanandhaa: Indian prodigy Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa etched his name in history in the field of Chess after he clinched a silver in the World Chess Champion 2023 on August 24. Becoming the first runner-up, the 18-year-old received many congratulatory posts from the people, including prominent names in India. Joining the wishes, business tycoon Anand Mahindra also expressed his wish to gift something to the young winner. Taking to his social media handle, the billionaire said that he is planning to present a XUV4OO EV to Praggnanandhaa’s parents, Shrimati Nagalakshmi and Shri Rameshbabu.

In the post, Mahindra expressed his views on the idea of gifting a Thar to the winner. He mentioned that the idea behind the gift was to encourage other parents to encourage their kids to take an interest in games like chess.
