Mumbai Uber Driver Viral Video: Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures that leave the biggest mark and one Uber driver in Mumbai just proved that. An Australian woman, Bree Steele, was left deeply touched after her Uber driver went out of his way to help her during a long traffic jam caused by the Chhath Puja rush. Sharing her story on Instagram, the podcaster and influencer couldn’t stop praising his kindness.

In her now-viral video, Bree explained that what was supposed to be a 15-minute trip turned into a two-hour standstill. But instead of getting irritated, her driver decided to make the wait easier. He stopped the car, bought her water, kebabs, and a soft drink, and refused to take any money for it.

“Uber drivers in India, or maybe just Mumbai, are icons! I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours because of Chhath Puja (the journey usually takes 15 minutes). My Uber driver was so kind! He stopped and bought us water, kebabs, and a can of soft drink,” Bree said in her video.

She went on to share that this wasn’t her first heartwarming experience in Mumbai. “I’ve had so many Uber drivers in Mumbai look after me and help me, and it’s so great! I had one driver famously get me through flood waters to the airport on time. One driver stopped to retrieve my shoe, which fell out of the auto. And now this!”
