Recently, an incident that unfolded in Bangalore, earned the city a Delhi-like reputation as the netizens were quick to compare the two. An intense brawl broke out between a group of men and women outside a pub in Bangalore. A video of the same was shared on social media which instantly went viral as the people had a lot to say. The fight, according to the viral clip’s caption, erupted because of some abusive comments that were made between the two groups. As soon as the video went viral, it ended up dividing the internet as some people blamed the dresses worn by the women, while most criticised the mindset that was displayed over comments on the women’s attire. 

The video was posted on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh b/w Group of girls and Boys outside a Pub in Bengaluru over passing some abusive comments on girls.”

The video is doing rounds on social media as people reacted to the matter and commented on the incident. Most called it an everyday occurrence outside clubs, while some blamed the women for their attires. Rest commented on the mentality of many for blaming attire rather than one’s thinking. The post was shared today and received 85K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Inke kapre ni hmari soch choti h (It's not their clothes, its mind that should be blamed),” a user said. “Its ok don't fight,” added a second person. “Aadhe se jyada lafda ka issue same he hota hye (Most of such incidents have common reasons behind them),” said a third person. “Hamari chori choro se kam hai k? (Our daughters are no less than the boys),” commented a fourth person. “And they say Bangalore is safe,” added a fifth netizen. “Must be some people visiting from NCR I guess!” joined a sixth user. “Dangers of watching the match on the computer, one browser tab is on Pak vs Aus other on X, was watching this video when the commentators went game in Bengaluru, fun-loving people haha haha,” added another.
