Bengaluru Viral Video: A regular visit to a bank turned into a viral controversy in Chandapura, Bengaluru Rural, after a customer’s request for Kannada led to a heated argument. The disagreement between an SBI bank manager and a customer was caught on camera, and now, it's going viral all over the internet. The video, shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@ManobalaV', shows the customer calmly asking the SBI bank official to speak in Kannada, pointing out that the bank operates in Karnataka. But the manager stood firm, saying, “This is India,” and insisted on speaking Hindi. When the customer reminded her again that she’s in Karnataka, the manager replied bluntly, “I will not speak Kannada for you.”
The argument didn’t stop there. The customer asked if the official would never speak in Kannada, to which the manager replied, “No, I will speak Hindi.” The video has triggered mixed reactions. While some users argued that anyone has the right to speak the language of their choice, others slammed the bank official’s refusal to acknowledge the local language, calling it disrespectful and unprofessional.
