Viral Video: Bengaluru is often known for its traffic jams and constant language debates, but sometimes the city surprises you in the most unexpected ways. A tech professional recently had a shocking experience during his rides in the city that left him amazed, not just once, but twice in a row. During one ride, he discovered that his Rapido driver wasn’t an ordinary rider. The driver owns a 2BHK apartment worth Rs 80 lakh and works in an international company as a quality analyst. Yet, he still chooses to ride Rapido.

On a separate occasion, another driver he met earlier owned a café and a house valued at around Rs 60–70 lakh. When asked why he was driving despite his wealth, he simply replied, 'maza aata hai.'

Sharing his experience on Instagram, the tech professional can be heard saying, "Bengaluru is crazy. I’m not getting used to it, this has happened twice in a row with me. I was going in a Rapido, you know, the driver has a 2 BHK flat worth more than Rs 80 Lakhs. He is working in an international company as a quality analyst. A similar thing had happened earlier; the guy had a cafe. He also has more than Rs 60–70 Lakh worth of house. I asked him why he is riding Rapido, and he says because it’s fun to do."

The video shared on Instagram by the handle 'ankit.is.curious' two days ago received more than 29K views from users. One user wrote, "That's the reason they have flat... Want to ride and enjoy but do not want to waste money on petrol." "Same, I heard that the person we take vegetables and fruits said that he owns two houses, which are given for rent. I was like, what the fuck, really?" a second user wrote.

"And some rapido drivers treat the app as a dating app as well. Sometimes they are forced to," wrote a third user. "North Indians always complaining instead of working," added another user.

The story left many stunned, showing that in Bengaluru, even a simple ride can turn into an inspiring encounter, reminding everyone that sometimes passion and joy matter more than wealth.
