With Bengaluru facing one of the worst weather conditions and water crisis in decades, over already mounting issues of over-expensive rent and traffic, a man seemingly has reached the end of the road. Yes, a man was compelled to decide on leaving the city, all over its ‘weather, water and bad infrastructure’. Taking to social media, the man in question asked the internet for suggestions as he stated his confusion over staying or moving out of Bangalore. The post went viral and received all kinds of reactions. Most people commented on the city’s pros and cons and suggested him to stay regardless, while the rest were against it.

The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AnantNoFilter’. The post read, “Bangalore looks like it's gonna go to the dogs in another 5 years with bad infra bad weather, and bad water. Is Mumbai or Pune worth shifting to or should I just leave India?” The post was shared five days ago and pulled 378K views from people.

As the post went viral, it received multiple reactions. Most people suggested leaving the country itself, keeping in mind the current situation of all the Indian cities, while some others suggested the opposite and asked the man to give Bengaluru another chance. A few also advocated for moving to other cities like Mumbai.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “If not a kannadiga .. Yes, Mumbai is a great choice ..1) More diversified crowd .. Not just Techies. 2) Hindi or any language is welcome. 3) Better service from service providers like auto, maid, etc .. fewer tanturms . 4) Beaches. I did not like it,” a user said. “Mumbai has its own issues. If you want to move, get out of metro cities. All metros will face even more issues in the next 5-10-20 years,” added a second person.

“Every city has issues, stop running away and start owning the city,” added another. “Probably an unpopular opinion, but it's pretty straightforward now. It's not just about weather and water. There are many other indicators. If you can afford it, leave. Period,” added another. “Leave India. All the cities are going through the same,” commented the next person.
