Viral Video: Every piece of cloth that turns into a full-fledged dress, has a value of its own. No, we ain't talking about the obvious monetary value that almost everything carries, but instead, it's more about the emotional and personalised value each cloth ends up having, once it gets an owner. With that in mind, it makes all the sense in the world that dresses for special occasions like weddings, graduations, award ceremonies and such, hold a much deeper value. However, it seems like for this bride and her bridesmaids, the theory was a bit different. A video of the bride chopping off their dress to beat the heat amid the wedding reception was shared online, which hardly sat well with anyone.
The wedding video showed the bride sitting on her knees- which equally left people baffled- cutting off the ends of the dresses of all her bridesmaids. The cut was surely chaotic which was majorly pointed out by many netizens watching the video.
The video, after getting shared, went viral and pulled countless reactions. Most ‘hated’ the look the bridesmaids got in the end, while the rest chastised the group for ruining ‘perfect dresses’. Many also commented on the woman’s ‘poor scissors skills’.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Alyssa Lynn’. The post was captioned, “Much better.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 42K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Imagine being forced to buy and wear a dress then have the person that made you wear it chop it up,” a user said. “Sooooo nobody...including the bride....knew the reception was outside...nor what season was gonna be?” added a second person.
“They couldn’t cut any straighter? Dumped a bucket of water on themselves? Anything else instead of completely butchering perfectly good dresses,” added a third person. “The bride on her knees on grass does it for me,” wrote a fourth person. “I'm too Caribbean for this. I'm wearing this dress to at least 3 other wedding ceremonies and a gala with a fur stole. Paid my good money to be in the bridal party; I'm extending my coins,” added another.
