BTS Jin Returns From Military: All seven members of the Kpop band BTS (RM, Jin, Jhope, V aka Kim Taehyung, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook) are currently serving in the South Korean military. The eldest member Jin aka Kim Seokjin, who enlisted in the mandatory South Korean military service in December 2022 is all set to return on June 12. With just a couple of days left for his return, fans have already started imagining the scenario when he will come back to the fans. A day after his return, Jin will also meet ARMY for BTS Festa 2024 celebrations. As the big day nears, ARMY is sure that Jin's return will be an emotional one and many fans will be seen with teary eyes.
A video has been going viral in which fans imagined BTS Jin aka Kim Seokjin's return in Shah Rukh Khan style by comparing it with the popular scene from the blockbuster Bollywood movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In the Karan Johar directorial film, the entry of Shah Rukh Khan and Jaya Bachchan's reaction to it has been food for various memes throughout the years. Now, BTS has also joined the badwagon. In the edited video, Jin can be seen returning to his home as Jaya Bachchan (signifying the BTS ARMY) runs to the entrance with teary eyes to welcome him. The video has gone viral on the internet and fans have been anticipating a similar reaction to Jin's return.

The video left the BTS ARMY amused. Many even got emotional and said that they have been eagerly waiting for June 12 because Jin is coming home. A fan commented, "The only reason I'm waiting for 2024, otherwise I'll skip." Taking to the comments section, another fan said, "I will lose my sh*t completely on that day. But kudos to the editor, it was done perfectly! It fits so well." Another fan quipped the ARMY is crazy and deeply in love with BTS. A third user said, "Nothing can describe that wait scene better than this."
Meanwhile, BTS Jin left for military service on 12 December 2022 and will be discharged from the national service on June 12, 2024, after completing his 18-month military duty. According to the latest reports, all the other members of BTS including Jungkook, Jimin, V, RM< Jhope and Suga have applied for leave on June 12 to see-off their Jin Hyung. Also, Jin is gearing up for a meet and greet with fans on June 13 on the occasion of the band's 11th anniversary.
BTS Military Service:
While BTS Jin will return on June 12, 2024, Jhope is expected to return in October 2024 as he enlisted in April 2023. BTS' leader RM and V aka Kim Taehyung enlisted in the military together on December 11, 2023. They will return in June 2025. On the other hand, Jimin and Jungkook enlisted a day after RM and V in December 2023 and are expected to return in June 2025. The duo opted for the buddy system which allows them to enlist as a pair and undergo training side by side throughout. However, the training under the buddy system is said to be more harsh and strict.
On the other hand, BTS Suga is also serving his mandatory national duty but not in the military. Due to his shoulder injury, the BTS rapper has been exempted from the same and is currently serving as the social service agent. He will serve for 21 months and will return in 2025.
