JE News Desk: A video is currently doing rounds on social media shows a Chinese ambassador’s wife allegedly beating her Pakistani maid by pulling her hair in broad daylight. The video was shared by netizens on Twitter and other social media platforms.

In the viral video, the woman can be seen assaulting her maid in front of the public while she begs for mercy and tries to get away from her. The woman can be seen thrashing her maid badly and slapping her. However, Jagran English cannot confirm the authenticity of the video.

The reason behind the heart-wrenching incident has not been revealed so far. Several people who were watching the incident tried to prevent the woman from thrashing the maid. The woman can be seen dragging the other woman by pulling her hair and even kicking her in the stomach.

After the video went viral, netizens shared their thoughts on the microblogging site and criticised the incident. One of the users wrote, “Education is a modification of behaviour, not mad behaviour.”

Another user wrote that true wealth is measured by kindness and empathy, not material possessions. “Let’s treat everyone with respect, regardless of status. Unfortunately, our nearby country doesn’t seem to recognize the importance of such values,” one of the users wrote on Twitter.

This is not the first time when such incidents went viral on social media. In another video which surfaced online, a woman was seen beating her daughter in front of people for having a boyfriend. The mother can be seen slapping her daughter repeatedly while she screams and begs her to stop. However, the mother didn’t stop and dragged her out of the room. The video sparked massive outrage on social media after it went viral.
