People all across the nation went silent the moment Australia crossed the winning score at the World Cup 2023 final against India in Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Stadium yesterday, November 19. The entire country, along with the Indian national cricket team, fell into a ‘tearful’ and ‘sunken’ mode. However, the fact that the next day was a Monday aka the ‘worst working day’ according to many, further made the defeat hard to cope with. But not for this organisation. A company gave a day off to its employees on November 20, to recover from the defeat. A screenshot of the email and text about the same was shared on the internet.

The post was shared on the Instagram handle ‘trolls_official’, with the caption, “It's okay to be disappointed, but remember, our team fights not just for victory but for the pride of billions. Onward with hope!”

The post instantly went viral as it intrigued people. Most appreciated the organisation for the off and lauded their efforts in making the employees feel better, while others expressed their desire to work for the said company. Some even found it funny and jokingly shared about their skills so the organisation would hire them. The post was shared a few hours ago and pulled 90K views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Need a job in this company. someone recruit me,” a user said. “I am both- social content head/copywriter.. Please hire me HR,” requested a second netizen. “I have never had a bigger heartbreak than this in my life. I am not able to understand what happened. The saddest thing ever my team,” added a third person. “Moye Moye in real life,” said a fourth. “This is just too sad to deal with, I can’t my company give me a day off,” said a fifth person.

“I wish my company would have done something same. Instead, they gave us extra work because the bosses are sad,” commented a sixth. “I want what they are having,” said another user.
