Viral Video: What happens when you knock on a stranger’s door just to ask for breakfast? For Sadeev Singh, a Delhi-based influencer, the answer was unexpected kindness, delicious food, and a moment that’s now winning the internet. In a video that has gone viral, Sadeev is seen walking through a Bengaluru neighbourhood, hoping to experience a traditional home-cooked meal. He confidently walks up to a random house and politely asks the woman at the door, “Ma’am, I’m from Delhi and I’d love to try a traditional local breakfast. Can I eat at your home?” Without hesitation, she smiles and says, “Let me ask uncle.”

Soon after, the man of the house appears with a welcoming smile and invites him in like family. What followed was a true taste of Karnataka, a plate of Ragi Mudde, a nutritious millet-based dish served with warmth and generosity. But it wasn’t just a meal. The family shared encouraging words with Singh, telling him to work hard and follow his dreams. He clicked selfies with them and later shared, “People in Bengaluru are too sweet.” The caption of his post read, “Divided by languages, united by food.”

One user wrote, "They never asked you to speak in Kannada. They wished the best for you. If you don't disrespect the language and culture, you will get the respect back!" "If someone gives you Ragi Mudde, then you’re at the rightest place there can ever be," a second user added. "Thank you for putting this out! Social media is flooded with memes about Bengaluru, but this is the REAL Bengaluru. So wholesome," added a third user.

"I've seen so many rants online about how people in Bangalore treat North Indians — how they supposedly look down on them or force them to speak Kannada. But let me be honest about my experience. Bangalore has always felt like a dream city to me — warm, welcoming, and full of people with kind smiles and helping hands. As a girl, I’ve never felt safer or more accepted. No one judges you for your clothes, your accent, or where you come from. They just let you be you. That comfort, that freedom, that silent respect — that’s what makes me want to settle there for life," a fourth user wrote.

"I live in a rented house and this lady next door.. she noticed that its just me and my friend living alone.. so she started bringing us food every now and then saying that it brings her joy to cook for us as we’re like her own children’s.. people should definitely see the wholesome side of Bangalore as-well.," added a fifth user. "So so cute…never agreed with the “north indians are treated badly in Bangalore” narrative. I have only and only met wholesome people here and have made family out of every space I’ve been in.. be it at work or otherwise," added another user.
