LinkedIn Viral Post: Dating apps are full of surprises, but one man from Ahmedabad may have just experienced the funniest twist of them all. What began as a normal Bumble match quickly turned into a mix of job talk, wedding talk, and even a possible brand deal, all in one go. Sharing his story on LinkedIn, Umang Rana explained how everything started off perfectly ordinary. A simple match, a small chat, the usual “where are you from” questions, nothing unusual at all. But the next morning changed everything.
Umang wrote, “So I matched with someone on Bumble. Normal match, normal chat, normal ‘where are you from’ energy. We talked for a day. Next morning, her Mom calls me. Yes. Her mother.” The woman’s mother didn’t waste a moment and got straight to business. She asked him, “Beta, I heard you do writing and marketing humare office ka page sambhal loge?” At first he thought he had misunderstood her, but then she added the even more hilarious line: “Beta you seem sincere and unmarried we can negotiate both things.”
At this point, Umang genuinely had no idea what he was being considered for, a job position, a marriage proposal, or a long-term marketing collaboration with the family. He continued the story with another funny twist. The girl later messaged him, saying, “Sorry my mom is extra. Ignore her.” But before he could relax, her mom texted again, asking, “Beta, do you take advance payment?”

To make things even more chaotic, Umang’s own mother checked the name on Truecaller and said, “Talk nicely. Could be a good client.” Leaving him completely confused, he joked, “Now I don’t know who I’m dating. The daughter? The mother? Or the brand?”
