Rapido Captain Viral Video: Not all heroes wear capes, some wear helmets and ride through tough roads, chasing dreams they refuse to give up on. That’s the story of Viraj Srivastav, a former assistant director who now works as a Rapido driver, doing everything he can to hold on to his passion for filmmaking. Content creator Ratnam E M Kalra recently shared a heart-touching video on Instagram, revealing how a casual bike ride turned into an unforgettable story. Kalra says Srivastav was his first-ever Rapido ride, and during their conversation, he discovered the young man’s incredible journey.

After losing his father, Viraj had to leave his home and mother behind to find work and survive. Dreams of becoming a filmmaker were still alive, but life had other plans. Financial troubles forced him to quit studies, and he struggled with loneliness. “Main bahut roya maa ko miss karke par waapisjaane ka tareekanhipatatha,” he says in the video.

Srivastav once worked as an assistant director on Zee TV’s show 'Qubool Hai', starring Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover. His first salary? Just Rs 2,250. He also got an offer from a TV production house but couldn’t continue due to circumstances. He shares his dream with confidence: “Marne se phle jo meri icchahaina, wo karkerahunga, kursipe baith kr rahunga. Roll, Camera, Action, bol kar rahunga.”

Kalra described Srivastav as “special, stubborn, stern and so so talented.” He was only trying Rapido part-time to earn a bit extra, but his story has now inspired thousands. Viraj Srivastav’s journey is a powerful reminder that real dreams may bend, but never break.
