Coming to the ‘reason’ behind such beliefs- well, there is no specific answer. In fact, every community or religion has their own beliefs as to why Friday the 13th is considered a spooky day. The day Friday being THE day when Jesus Christ was crucified, combined with the belief that it was the 13th guest at the Last Supper, Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus- Friday the 13th became a negative one as per Christianity. Apart from religious beliefs, Fridays were also one of the most hated days during medieval times, as most executions reportedly used to take place on Fridays.
