What exactly is Bengaluru heading towards? How can a police officer, who is diligently performing his duty, be subjected to such disgraceful misbehavior on a public road? This is not just an attack on an individual officer but an insult to the law and order of our city.

The viral video triggered a wave of reactions online, with many expressing concern over the state of law enforcement and road discipline. One user remarked, "Our police have become too kind to offenders. I saw a luggage auto driver racing a car, overtaking at high speed on the wrong route near a check post, and the cops just counseled him and let him go. Excessive kindness and strictness both can be harmful."
Another user emphasised stricter penalties, stating, "Driving a vehicle without insurance should result in vehicle seizure. A mere fine won’t deter offenders—this is a serious offense." A third user reflected on the city’s growing frustrations, writing, "People in Bangalore are so frustrated with their everyday lives that it comes out like this. Totally shameful."
