Nepal Gen Z Viral Video: Nepal has been going through big political trouble, with huge protests led by Gen Z shaking the whole country. These demonstrations eventually brought down the government of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The anger first began after the government banned 26 social media platforms. As all this was happening, countless videos from the protests started spreading on social media. Some clips showed chaos and disruptions, while others revealed the more positive side of young protesters. One video, in particular, stood out and quickly went viral.
The video, posted on Instagram by Priyu Bhatt, shows young protesters cleaning the streets after the demonstrations. The text on the screen reads, “After the protest, Gen Z has started cleaning up their nation.” The caption of the post says, “Jay Nepal, Naya Nepal.” In the clip, groups of youngsters can be seen sweeping and tidying up the roads, showing their sense of responsibility towards the nation.
This heartwarming act has gone viral, gaining over 10 million views, more than 6 lakh likes, and thousands of comments. While some online debates focus on the negative side of the protests, this video has won hearts by showing how Nepal’s youth are not just fighting for change but also taking steps to care for their country.

"We're being accused of spreading negativity and toxicity globally, and our reaction is, Are you serious?' a user wrote. "This shows that they love their country but hate the government. Burning government buildings is an act of nationalism," a second user wrote. "As a borderline millennial, I have to agree, I love Gen Zs. Love whatever is wrong with them. They are who I want to be when I grow up," wrote a third user.
"The media is not showing anything. I saw my dad watching the news and the tone of the reporter was as if the protestors were to blame. She also said the protestors set PM's wife on fire. This is why I don't trust news agencies," added a fourth user. "I have many friends from Nepal and when it all started, I discussed it with them. To my surprise, even they were participating in the protest and were in favor of rebuilding the nation," added another user.
