Rapido Driver Viral Video: A shocking incident in Gurugram has once again highlighted growing concerns about women’s safety and the accountability of ride-sharing platforms. One such case is again making waves on social media. A Rapido driver has been accused of harassing a female passenger by sending her inappropriate messages shortly after reaching her location for a ride. One of the messages reportedly read, “Give me your flat number, I’ll come,” along with his personal contact number, which made the woman feel unsafe.
Shocked and scared, the woman immediately informed her husband, Abhimanyu. Taking quick action, he traced the driver’s location, confronted him in person, and recorded the entire encounter on camera. Abhimanyu also revealed that the driver may have been using someone else’s Rapido ID, which raises serious questions about the company’s driver verification process and safety checks.
The video, later posted online, shows the driver apologising and claiming it was a misunderstanding. However, the seriousness of the message and the intent behind it have led to widespread outrage on social media.
