A golden retriever named Wally has become the internet’s new heart-stealer after a video of him struggling to part with his grandma went viral. In the clip, Wally looks heartbreakingly sad, his eyes filled with emotion as if he knows his loved ones are about to leave. Even when his grandma leans in to comfort him with a forehead kiss, he resists at first, but finally melts into her affection.

His grandma gently reassures him, saying, “Just so sad. Oh, buddy, you are so sad. Grandma’s gonna see you on Thursday. Mama and Dad are gonna go away for the weekend.” She then adds lovingly, “So tired, you were a swimmer today, that’s why. No one loves you like your grandma. Don’t let them fool you, okay?” The video has touched countless hearts online, proving once again that dogs don’t just live with us, they love with every bit of their soul.
