The idea of divorce celebrations, which is popular elsewhere, appears to be gaining encouragement in India, even though pre-wedding, bachelor parties, and even post-wedding shoots have become normal.

Manjeet and Komal were divorced this year after an unsatisfactory marriage that commenced in 2020. Manjeet hosted a divorce party to commemorate his separation, packed with a poster that featured his wedding picture, marriage date, and divorce date. Manjeet cut several of the cakes at the party to mark his newfound independence.

In order to make the party even more unusual, Manjeet included a mannequin that was allegedly his ex-wife. By posing with the mannequin, he created a captivating picture that went viral on the internet.
