A man, believed to be of Indian-origin, has been arrested in Hong Kong for molesting a South Korean woman in the central area of Kennedy Town. He faces charges of indecent assault and outraging public decency after he was seen sexually harassing the South Korean Twitch streamer during a livestream.

In the live stream, the accused could be seen repeatedly groping the victim despite her resistance. The video also captured the man following the woman inside what has been reported to be a Mass Transit Railway (MTR) station. Meanwhile, her concerned viewers asked her to run and call the police. The incident reportedly took place early Monday.

Initially, as the man tried to grope her, the visibly uncomfortable woman could be heard exclaiming "Please don't hold my arm... or whatever" while she tried to resist his unwelcome advances. The accused later pressed her against a wall for several seconds, while saying in English, "I am alone. Come with me." Voicing her distress, the vlogger cried, "I'm not alone," as she tried to push away the man.

The man was seen running away as the live vlogger desperately called for help from passersby at the MTR station's steps. As per media reports, the woman's ordeal began as a man approached her to ask for directions. However, he soon placed his arm around her shoulders, as seen in the video recorded by the woman which has now gone viral on social media.

According to local police, the clothes and shoes worn by the man seen in the video have been recovered from the accused's possession. Following the incident, the South Korean tourist travelled to Macau the same day and live-streamed from her hotel, recounting the horrifying experience.

She showed the bruises she sustained during the incident. "The bruises became worse actually, he held me too tight," she said. The woman said she would return to Hong Kong on Wednesday and added that whatever she faced there was "the guy's fault" and not the city's.
