Magicpin, a food delivery app, shared a post on social media that read: India’s Lost Talent. Comedy should have its limits, but discounts shouldn’t.

The viral post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) via Magicpin's official account. It was captioned, "Can we get back the magic in comedy?" along with hashtags like #StandUpComedy and #India. Posted yesterday, the ad quickly went viral, amassing 410K views from users.

Many users quickly reacted to the viral post with a mix of humor and criticism. One user wrote, "Discounts having no limit? That’s even better than comedy!" Another commented, "Real talent was in legends like Raju Shrivastava. These days, comedy is just vulgarity." A third user added, "It’s not 'India’s Lost Talent'—a more fitting name would be 'India’s Absolute Degenerate Youth'." Meanwhile, another quipped, "This is turning into a comedy of its own."

The controversy erupted when YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia posed a shocking question on India’s Got Latent. He asked a contestant whether they would rather witness their parents having sex for life or participate once to make it stop. The question was widely deemed inappropriate, sparking strong criticism and backlash online.

However, multiple complaints were filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and influencer Apoorva Mukhija. In response, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell registered a case against India’s Got Latent and filed charges against 40 individuals associated with the show.
