Canadian Man Viral Video: India is known for its ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (Guest is God) tradition, but not everyone sees it that way. A Canadian traveler, Nolan Saumure, was recently asked to choose between India and Pakistan for better hospitality. Without any hesitation, he picked Pakistan, and his response has now gone viral.

In a quick chat with Instagram user @officialnamour, famous for his street interviews, Saumure was asked, “India or Pakistan, which country has better hospitality?” He immediately chose Pakistan and shared why.

“You go to India and people just look at you as a walking ATM,” he said, explaining that in India, tourists often feel like they are being treated as customers rather than guests. On the other hand, he found Pakistanis to be more welcoming, offering food and even a place to stay without expecting anything in return. “You go to Pakistan and people are just like, ‘Oh come here, sit. Take this free food. Oh come sleep at my place,’” he added. His statement has sparked a debate online, with many people sharing their own experiences about hospitality in both countries.

The video quickly gained traction online, racking up 4.4 million views as social media users took notice. The comment section was flooded with reactions, with many sharing their thoughts and personal experiences on the debate.

The comment section was filled with diverse opinions. One user shared, "As an African living in Dubai (UAE), I agree with him. Pakistanis are more friendly than Indian people. Pakistan sees you as a friend, while Indians see you as a total stranger. A lot I can't say here, but PK are good people." Another user added, "The truth is most Islamic countries' people are very hospitable." However, not everyone agreed. A third user countered, "No brother, India also has better hospitality."

Meanwhile, a different comment took a sarcastic turn, stating, "It’s true that Pakistan is renowned for its hospitality—so much so that even Bin Laden loved living there, innit?" "Why do whites expect princess treatment from India after stealing $45 trillion from India," a fifth user added. "Pakistan is very happy until they see full reel," added another user.
