The post was captioned, “We shut down Wall Street for a 400-person Baraat—who would’ve ever thought?!” He also added, “Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of magic.” The video shared a few hours ago pulled 349k views from social media users. "So wild! 450+ guests, never-ending baraat…. And you. Such a great time planning this," a user wrote. "People in NYC are so happy and surprised as well …recording videos of Baraat," a second user added.

"Indian diaspora is a prime example of Haters gonna hate you for being Indian and you must ignore those and work hard," added a third user. "Why are whites jealous here! Looks lit! A bit more show off of money there, but it’s their money! Do whatever, man! I’m a bit annoyed about traffic, but wouldn’t complain a bit if I were invited to the wedding," added a fourth user. "If done under the legality of the state, no complaint even from the Indians of India. Else, our weddings are unnecessarily loud and problematic in so many aspects," added another user.

"I’m not a fan of cultural appropriation, especially in the middle of a busy city. I wouldn’t mind if it were a hip-hop event, but we need to be mindful of the people around us. Unless it’s an organized parade or pre-approved event in a less congested area, it can come off as disruptive and inconsiderate to bystanders," another user added. "Better than a protest that blocks the road for a dispute between two foreign countries for foreign land and creates chaos," added another person.
