IndiGo Apologises With Goody Bag Viral Video: Even though IndiGo flights have started running a bit smoother now, the airline is still dealing with frustrated passengers and online criticism. Just a few days ago, the airline was struggling badly after new government rules kicked in on December 1, giving pilots more mandatory rest. The sudden change threw IndiGo’s entire schedule into chaos. While things are slowly settling down, passengers are still facing long delays. One such delay sparked a new conversation when a video from an IndiGo flight started spreading online.

In the clip, the cabin crew is seen walking through the aisle and handing out small goody bags to travellers. The surprise bags were actually an apology gesture, because the flight had been delayed for 9 long hours. Later, the passenger who posted the clip also revealed what was inside. The little packet included Gourmet popcorn, Methi Mathri, Mixed Fruit Juice, and a small card.

The video shared on Instagram by the handle 'babyaaira.gaurav' three days ago pulled 1.5 million views and the video of unboxing the bag shared two days ago garnered an impressive 2.9 million views from people. The video quickly gained attention; some people felt the goody bag was not enough, while others said it was a sweet attempt by the airline to make up for the delay.

"Everyone knows flight delays are irritating, but turning them into a joke just for attention is unnecessary. At least the airline apologized and tried to make up for it but you’re the only one still crying for attention. Grow up," a user wrote. "At least you got this, we got only a glass of juice after 16 hrs flight delay," a second user wrote.

"It’s not an apology, it’s a meal for you to eat while you are waiting. We got it even when our flight was delayed by 1.5 hrs last year," wrote a third user. "None of the domestic flights in other countries provides any kind of food during flights, it’s sad to see what is happening, I loved Indigo's service and their on-board staff. It’s sad what this has come to," added a fourth user.
