Just a few days back, Indian social media became all about the ‘Moye Moye’ trend that originated from the Siberian song ‘Moye More’ by singer and songwriter Teya Dora. The ‘Moye More’ song that was officially released by the name ‘Džanum’, turned into ‘Moye Moye’ based on the desi pronunciation. Then came the ‘Jamal Kudu’ trend from the film ‘Animal’, which is still pretty much alive, and now there is another tune in the social media ‘town’, which is going viral; ‘Inky Pinky Ponky’. The song has become a major meme among desis. 

‘Inky Pinky Ponky’ is a nursery rhyme. What made the rhyme further viral was that it was sung to the tunes of the hit song ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ from the 90s. As soon as the meme surfaced online, it garnered fans on social media, using it in several ‘suffering’ situations. 

Taking to the internet, people shared their take. Most people are sharing memes and jokes over new versions of the song and connecting it to their ‘failed’ situations, while others dubbed it a new song that they will be sharing and listening to on repeat for a long time.
