Bengaluru and the city’s ‘obsession’ with tech, start-ups, and techies is on another level. It seems like every other Bangalore resident is some kind of entrepreneur or tech guru- at least based on the countless number of instances that make it to social media. Proving the same correct yet again, a social media post was shared online- which went viral. The post had a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation between a landlord and his tenant, where the two were discussing a start-up. Yes, the landlord- a tech advisor- was setting up a meeting with his tenant- who was starting his own start-up. The internet user- also the tenant- further clarified in the post’s caption that the landlord was meeting up to give him ‘intros to corporates’.
The viral post, soon after getting shared, left people commenting. Some netizens called such instances common for the IT hub of India, while the rest pulled hilarious ‘peak Bengaluru things’ jokes.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘vetrijedi’. The post was captioned, “Bengaluru is the only city where your landlord also becomes Tech Advisor for your startup My landlord (Solutions Architect at Intel) loved our product & is giving us intros to corporates/advising us on our architecture while meeting us at cafes My contribution to @peakbengaluru.” The post was shared few days ago and pulled more than 16K views from people.

Come to Bangaluru!” a user said. “Ask him to waive the 11-month deposit, call it an investment, and give him sweat equity,” added a second person. “I think he is an investor for you with a vision,” added another.
“Can clearly see his dev mode on ‘will fix it’ reply,” added a fourth person. “That's the beauty of my city,” added another. “Welcome to Bengaluru- the city of tech and techies,” added a sixth person. “No place in India beats Bengaluru in terms of tech & innovation,” commented a seventh user.
