Khan Sir Wife First Public Appearance: What was meant to be a joyful celebration turned into a trending topic across social media, as Khan Sir’s wedding reception in Patna grabbed everyone’s attention. Held on June 2, the grand event marked the first public appearance of his wife, AS Khan and the internet can’t stop talking about her red bridal look, especially the full-face veil she wore.
A Bride’s Look That Sparked A Debate:
AS Khan, reportedly a government officer from Siwan, Bihar, became the center of online discussions after pictures and videos from the reception went viral. Dressed in a bright red lehenga with heavy gold embroidery and a sheer veil covering her face, her appearance drew a flood of reactions. Some admired her elegance and choice to follow tradition, while others were surprised by the full face covering, leading to a wide mix of opinions online.

Details Of Khan Sir's Wife Look:
The red lehenga was adorned with delicate jaal work and rich gold embroidery. Her lehenga and blouse were identical. She accessorised her ensemble with two dupattas, one covering her face and head and the other draped like a saree pallu. Both had sequin borders and coordinating gold embroidery. It was this face-covering veil that stole the spotlight, becoming a hot topic across Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms.
Khan Sir’s Elegant Look:
Khan Sir, dressed sharply in a brown three-piece suit, stood next to her. He accessorised it with dress shoes, a pocket square, a blush pink shirt, and a maroon silk tie. His appearance was a picture-perfect match for the bride's traditional attire.
Guest List Full of Big Names
Tejashwi Yadav, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and other prominent figures from the political and academic spheres attended the celebration.
Social Media Reactions:
However, not everyone was impressed with the bride’s look. Many internet users expressed disappointment over AS Khan’s decision to wear a full-face veil, calling it regressive. Khan Sir, who has previously spoken against such practices in his lectures, faced backlash online for what some called a 'double standard.'

Since Khan Sir is a popular celebrity, he got a beautiful bride. He was against the practice of ghoonghat (veil), yet he kept her behind a veil. Khan Sir talks modern things but dissappointed to see big Ghoonghat on Reception day. He should have led by example. Khair doesn't matter.

Talks of women empowerment, equality, and respect echo loudly from the stage yet in the 21st century, the wife isn’t allowed beyond the veil.

From Private Wedding To Public Buzz:
During a live class, Khan Sir informed his students that he got married in a private ceremony in May. He had clarified that the low-key wedding was planned in consideration of the significant geopolitical tensions that existed at the time between India and Pakistan. But the Patna reception, full of grandeur and emotion, more than made up for the quiet ceremony.
