Leopard Scare In Jaipur: From film and TV drama sets to well-gated societies, it seems like the ‘mighty’ leopards have somehow found some kind of ‘master key’ that opens the door to almost every residential area in the country. Why so, you ask? Well because in recent years, leopard encounters in residential areas have seen a dramatic increase, adding to the new fears that people have created with time. Recently, another leopard scare caused chaos in Rajasthan, when the big wild cat was spotted in a hotel room in Jaipur. The incident reportedly took place at the Kanota Castle Heritage Hotel. A video of the big cat messing around the room was shared online and went viral on social media.
The residential hotel room reportedly belonged to an employee, who at the time was out to drop his kid to school. Soon after the reports of the leopard breach began to float, the Forest Department was contacted. As per the reports, the spotted cat was then rescued by the Forest Department officials.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘europecentrral’. The post was captioned, “Leopard enters a hotel in Jaipur, video goes viral.”
