Viral Video: Making headlines for all the questionable reasons, a man in Thailand went viral after his video of driving around with a lion cub went viral. The cub might look like a ‘cute cat’ but the man somehow failed to understand the very obvious risks that the few months-old lion cub possessed for itself and others around it. To make matters worse, the little one was enjoying the ‘ride’ in a convertible Bentley, where nothing would have stopped the cub if it had jumped out. A video of the same went widely viral and left people outraged. Most called the incident an example of ‘animal cruelty’, and some demanded action against the driver.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Bangkokboy17’. The post was captioned, “Viral video of the day: A person - probably from Bangladesh - chauffeurs a four-month-old lion through the middle of Pattaya in a rented Bentley convertible. How sick is this? Keeping a lion as a pet is cruel!”

The video went viral and left people irked. Most dubbed it 'animal cruelty’, while the rest demanded strict action against the person driving. Some also pointed out the obvious risks the incident posed to the poor animal and the commuters around it. The video was shared yesterday and has gained thousands of views on social media since then.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Why the hell can an individual own a lion?” asked a user. “Strict actions should be taken against such people. This is clearly animal cruelty,” joined a second.
“That lion is just a baby. He might be more scared than the people around him. This is not only risky for the humans but for the baby lion as well,” added a third netizen. “Not sure why so many people are intrigued by a person driving a white car with a lion. There’s more excitement in lower Sukhumvit,” joked a fourth user.
“This is just very immature of the person driving. Roaming around with a lion like that. Driver should be jailed and that poor lion should be rescued,” said another.
