Elderly Couple Viral Video: A sweet moment from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is melting hearts all over the internet. In a video that’s now going viral, a 93-year-old man walked into a jewellery shop with his wife to buy her a mangalsutra, and what happened next touched everyone deeply. The couple, holding hands and smiling softly, entered Gopika Jewellers. They quietly looked through the designs, and after some time, chose a mangalsutra. When the shopkeeper asked about the payment, the old lady took out Rs 1,120 in notes. Seeing this, the jeweller playfully asked, “So much money?” Thinking more was needed, the old man pulled out two bundles filled with coins from his bag.
But to everyone’s surprise, the jeweller refused to take the full amount. Instead, he asked for just Rs 10 from each, only Rs 20 total. He said it was a small gift to honour their strong love. The elderly couple became emotional and had tears in their eyes. The shopkeeper later shared that the couple has faced many struggles. They lost their elder son, and their younger son is dealing with alcoholism. Despite all this, the couple stays together, full of love and care.

Request all Sanatanis to do the same," a second user.
"The tears of happiness and contentment of those elderly couple will bless him and his generation to come," added a third user. In a world where I have personally experienced money to be the be-all and end-all, all this is heartwarming," a fifth user added. "It brought tears to my eyes. Brought back memories of those simple-hearted beloved devotees of Sri Panduranga and the goodness of good people," added another user.
"Really touching… inspirational and emotional message. Such incidents only reassure us that, yes, there are people who show selfless kindness, benevolence, compassion and most importantly, enjoy doing this. Made my day," another user added. "A generous gesture indeed! Now I worry as to how they will keep it safe! If the lady wears it, she is in continuous danger. As a person whose mangalsutra has been ripped off her neck twice, I should know," another user added.
