Viral Video: Indian weddings are known for their age-old rituals, but one groom has surprised everyone by giving a modern twist to tradition. A viral Instagram video shows him taking over the 'Pehli Rasoi Rasam,' a ritual usually performed by the bride, where she cooks her first dish for her new family. Instead of following the norm, the groom decided to step into the kitchen himself. Since he moved in with his in-laws, he thought it was only fair that he cook for them. His choice of dish? A fruit custard, simple yet special, because it happens to be his wife’s favourite.

The clip, shared by Ankit Sabharwal, captures every step, from the groom’s preparation to his in-laws happily tasting the dessert. Their reaction was priceless: not only did they enjoy the sweet treat but they also showered him with blessings and gave him shagun money as a token of love.

Captioned “Same Old Traditions, with a Modern Twist,” the video has left netizens both amused and impressed. Some are calling it a sweet 'UNO reverse moment,' while others are praising the groom for breaking stereotypes in the sweetest way possible.

The post shared just a day ago pulled 689k views from Instagram users and a flood of reactions in the comment section.
