Is it a plane? Is it a bird? No, it’s a hilarious take that seems to be ‘clarifying’ the confusion that was apparently being shared by countless people; the difference between Momo and Dim sum. Recently, an internet user took to his social media handle to share a picture of a conversation about the difference between the snacks Momo and Dim sum. For those unfamiliar with the terms, both- Momo and Dim sum- are mouthwatering snacks that have become a staple streetside food in India in the last few years. Coming back to the post going viral, it was the man’s answer to the question about the difference between Momo and Dim sum that left people intrigued; ‘bartan (utensils) ka difference’.
As per the man, it was the plating with which the snacks are served- if they are served in a bamboo bowl then it's Dim sum and if they are served on a plate, they are momo. The post left people laughing as netizens joined in and added a few more hilarious ‘differences’.
The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘RishabhKaushikk’. The post was captioned, “Am I right or I am right?” The video was shared two days ago and pulled 137K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Momos are made from maida. Dimsums are made from rice sheets,” a user said. “Momos - 50 rs. Dimsum (same thing with a fancier box and name) - 450 rs,” added a second person. “Same question I asked a momo seller,” added a third person.
“Dimsums! Pehli baar ye naam dekha (Dimsums! I'm seeing this name for the first time),” added a fourth user. “The shape is also different, that's all. So, either you are just being ignorant or you simply do not know anything,” added a fifth user. “Momos nhi, momo hota hai (It’s not momos, its momo),” added a sixth person.
