Viral Video: When it comes to one’s romantic life, getting proposed to, becomes one of the most vital memories for many. Whereas for some, it can often be a yearning, when they are yet to be asked the big question. However, sometimes, people are simply not ready, and this man’s partner was surely one of the people among the latter category. The man in question seemingly decided to pop the question in a public place, for which he sat on one knee with a ring in his hand. But the proposal turned into a nightmare when the girl was left rather shocked than being surprised and chose to run away. The public, for obvious reasons, fell silent. Whereas the man broke down in tears.

The video went viral in an instant on social media. At the end of the clip, a few people came to take the man away from the public’s attention. Some dubbed it the man’s fault for not understanding that his partner was not ready, while the rest sympathised with him. Many also called the incident scripted.

The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘publicproposals’. The post was captioned, “How would you react if this happened to you.'' The video was shared a while back and pulled 821K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “No, no, no. It's not the girl's fault. She just wasn't ready. That doesn't mean that she doesn't love him. He should have proposed to her when they were alone, don't embarrass her in front of everyone, and if she said yes, then he could do it in public,” a user said.

“People who were laughing when she ran away are going to hell,” added a second person. “They clapping for his braveness,” commented a third person. “Clear rejection is better than fake promises,” added a fourth user. “Gym owners picking up their new customers. How lovely,” joked a fifth user. “So it was all staged to see public reactions,” added another.
