Viral Video: Gone are the days when one’s shoes were meant to save them from getting dirty on the ground or other such practical reasons, as these days, people are seemingly the ones who protect their shoes. If you own some of the most expensive pairs of shoes, then what we just said might actually make sense to you. However, for the unfamiliar, allow us to make you aware of people who will do anything and everything to keep their shoes safe and clean. Luckily, social media is full of videos proving the same. Adding another to the list, a video was shared on the internet, where a man was seen walking on his hands in a puddle of dirty water, to avoid his shoes from getting dirty.

Yes, let that sink in. The man parked his car on the roadside, only to get surrounded by some dirty water. However, unlike the rest of us, the man did a handstand and then began to walk on the road with his hands. Needless to say, the clip went viral.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Science Girl’. The post was captioned, “Saving the shoes.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 8.5 million views from people.

The video turned into an instant hit, as most people found the man’s idea hilarious and cracked jokes on the same, while the rest found the clip ‘dumb’ and suggested that the man could have instead parked somewhere else or would have just removed his shoes.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “If only… if only shoes could be removed,” a user joked. “Could have parked somewhere else, or gone barefoot,” commented a second person. “Or you could have just taken the shoes off or parked somewhere else,” commented a third person.
