Mangaluru Viral Video: Indian buses have become one of the most unsafe means of transport in the last few months. Social media has witnessed quite a number of violent cases where altercations escalated to a life-threatening level among bus passengers or conductors over the tiniest of issues. Just a few days ago, a man ended up stabbing a bus conductor over reportedly being asked to ‘stand away’ from the bus’s automatic door in Bengaluru. And now, a new bus-related drama unfolded in Karnataka's Mangalore, which was equally scary and difficult to watch. A video was shared on social media, where the staff members of two private buses were seen fighting with each other over unclear reasons.
Despite being inside a crowded bus, the staff continued to slap and punch each other. One of the ‘opponents’ even took out a screwdriver amid the fight, making the matter further concerning. As per the video, the incident took place in Mangaluru’s Balmatta. The incident took place on October 10, whereas an investigation is reportedly underway.
The Karnataka video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘HateDetectors’. The video was shared yesterday and pulled more than 3K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Just average dunda stuff. That's how even auto ch*pris behave in Bangalore,” a user said. “Now no one tag migrant worker or north is not attacking only Kannada speaking attacking? A killer never has cast or region but haters don’t understand that,” commented a second person.
“Only in Mangaluru: where bus rides come with unexpected drama! Let’s hope cooler heads prevail. #Mangaluru #StaySafe,” added a third user. “Great war between bus driver and conductor,” added a fourth person. “He was not speaking in kannada or what?” joked another. “People will approve of this behaviour as they are speaking in Kannada,” added another.
