Viral Video: If ‘chaos’ was an event, this Meerut wedding would be it! A video was shared on social media, where a groom was seen trying to get inside a speeding truck. Yes, as unbelievable as it sounds, the incident only became further dramatic after it turned out that the groom was actually trying to retrieve a Rs 500 note that the truck driver snatched from the groom’s garland made out of money. The groom was then seen coming out of the truck, only to later beat up the driver on a busy road. A few other wedding guests also joined the groom in teaching the driver a ‘lesson’. The exact date and location of the incident could not be confirmed. Regardless, the clip went viral.
The video began to float online after getting shared. Most found the incident too chaotic to believe it to be true, while the rest criticised the truck driver for stealing. Many also blamed the groom for escalating the matter to a violent level.
The wedding video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘TrueStoryUP’. The post was captioned, “The groom got very angry when she broke a 500 rupee note from the garland around her neck in a moving car. He beat her up and took a rest only after getting his note back. #viralvideo She is said to be from Meerut.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 150K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “True Alpha male character: I don’t just protect your heart, I protect your dowry too!” a user said. “Bro's wedding became unforgettable... definitely something no one will ever forget!” added a second person. “Is that James Bond 2000,” added a third person.
“Crazy how bro got PhD in Providing Kalesh with full context,” added a fourth user. “This is very wrong. It is very bad to take notes from the garland. The groom's anger was justified. But why should he get so angry that he resorted to fighting? He ruined the wedding day. Now the whole family will have to face embarrassment. Both sides made a mistake,” added another.
