Meerut Viral VideoIn a bizarre and dangerous incident at Meerut Cantt railway station, panic broke out as a car was seen racing along the platform, right beside a moving train. The shocking scene was captured on video and has since gone viral across social media. The man behind the wheel has been identified as Sandeep Dhaka, a serving army jawan from Baghpat, currently posted in Delhi. According to officials, Sandeep was drunk at the time and drove his car onto the platform to help his relatives catch a train they had almost missed.

The car, which had ‘Fauji’ written on the windshield and a Jharkhand registration plate, was reportedly driven parallel to the departing Naucharndi Express. Eyewitnesses said the speeding car came so close to the train that people on the platform started shouting and running to safety. “He drove very fast, almost parallel to the train. People were shouting and trying to get away,” said one witness, Rajveer Singh.

GRP officials said that Sandeep claimed his relatives had missed the Yoga Express and were rushing to Delhi for a family medical emergency. In a desperate attempt, he drove through the station and onto the platform to help them board the general coach of the Naucharndi Express.

The car stayed on the platform for nearly 20 minutes before RPF and GRP teams detained him. A medical test confirmed that he was heavily intoxicated. As of now, Sandeep is in custody, and the military police have launched a separate inquiry. The viral video has not only sparked anger but also raised serious concerns about railway security and public safety.
