Archita Phukan: Social media star Archita Phukan, also known as Babydoll Archi, is making headlines, not for her bold content this time, but for a kind and thoughtful gesture. She recently donated a total of Rs 75,000 to support abused children and animal welfare.
Fans Helped Decide Where the Money Should Go:
Archita didn’t choose the causes herself. Instead, she asked her followers on Instagram to vote through a poll. The options were: Health, Elderly, Animal Welfare, and Children. Over 45,000 people took part in the poll. The highest votes went to Children (35%) and Animal Welfare (33%). Based on the results, Archita donated Rs 45,000 to an animal charity and Rs 30,000 to an organisation that helps children living in red light areas. She shared screenshots of her donation and wrote, "As per the voting results, donations have been successfully processed. It's your contribution. Cheers."
Her Painful Past That Inspired Her Giving:
Archita’s support for children in difficult situations comes from her own tough past. In 2023, she revealed that she had been forced into prostitution for six years. She said she spent Rs 25 lakh to escape that life. But she didn’t stop there. With help from a trusted friend and a rescue organisation, Archita said she also helped eight other girls leave that world and start fresh. As she shared earlier, "With the unwavering support of a trusted friend and an organization dedicated to helping survivors like me, I was able to free 8 other girls/women and give them a new life."
From 'Damn Unn Grrr' Reel To Viral Fame With Kendra Lust:
Archita first grabbed people’s attention with her viral reel where she said the now-famous line, "Damn unn grrr". The quirky clip made her an instant internet sensation.
