Viral Video: A terrifying mid-air incident sent shockwaves through a transatlantic flight when a passenger allegedly attempted to force open the emergency exit at 35,000 feet. The shocking act, caught on video, has since gone viral, leaving the internet in disbelief. The alarming event took place on February 28 aboard Plus Ultra Flight 701, which had departed from Madrid’s Barajas Airport, heading toward Caracas, Venezuela. Everything seemed normal until chaos erupted over the Atlantic Ocean. Out of nowhere, a man jumped from his seat and lunged toward the emergency exit, attempting to pry it open.

Passengers who witnessed the unsettling scene screamed in horror while some rushed to assist flight attendants desperately trying to stop him. The viral video shows the man standing by the exit door as crew members struggle to restrain him. Eventually, he is overpowered, forced to the ground, and his hands are secured behind his back.

Reports indicate that one flight attendant sustained injuries while trying to contain the situation. The disturbing footage has sparked massive outrage on social media, with many expressing disbelief at the sheer recklessness of the act.

The viral video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the handle @LlaneroDigitalV. The post was captioned, "During Flight 701 of the Plus Ultra airline, which operated on the Madrid-Caracas route on March 1, an incident occurred that jeopardized the safety of passengers and crew."

According to reports, when asked about the incident, a Plus Ultra spokesperson stated, "A passenger became agitated and began disturbing the person in the next seat by shouting. The crew responded swiftly, relocating the passenger to another seat. Moments later, he suddenly approached one of the plane’s doors and attempted to manipulate it. Our cabin crew immediately intervened, restraining the passenger and securing him at the back of the plane until the flight reached its destination."The airline further added, "One of our cabin crew members sustained a partial fibula fracture. He has already received medical treatment, but the injury will keep him out of service for a few weeks."
