Viral Video: If you haven’t ever heard the phrase ‘don’t you know who my father is’, then are you even an Indian? In fact, it has rather turned into a ‘thing’ that people often use for getting rid of authorities, especially while on the road. Proving the above correct, an incident went viral and left the internet furious. The matter unfolded in Mumbai, where an alleged drunk man was seen pushing and abusing a cop in the middle of a street. The cop was allegedly called after the man hit a bike while driving. A video of the same was also shared on social media, which left the netizens commending the cop’s patience as he remained quiet during the entire interaction. From brutal abuse to threats of alleged political connections, the man effortlessly ended up on the wrong side of the internet for his behaviour.
As per the viral video, the incident took place on August 15, near the Lokhandwala Andheri West area in Mumbai. Most people chastised the man for his actions, while a majority were curious about the lack of actions taken by the authorities so far.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘sahiljakhar999’. The post was captioned, “Last night (15th August) near Lokhandwala Andheri West, Mumbai. This drunk guy hit a motorcycle and when people called for police, this guy started pushing and abusing the on-duty police officer. @MumbaiPolice please take the necessary action. Such people are a threat to society.” The video was shared three days ago and pulled 233K views from people.

Hope @MumbaiPolice has taken appropriate action,” a user said. “The cop had patience,” added a second person. “Hope this man got arrested @CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice @Dev_Fadnavis,” added another.
“That silence of the cop is the silence before that beating he's gonna get inside lockup. Man he's ass would be whooped!!” added a fourth user. “Why are such people not brought to book? Was any action taken by Mumbai Police @MumbaiPolice,” commented a fifth person. “He was under ‘Jaanta nahi mera baap kaun hai (Don’t you know who my father is)’ syndrome. Poor little boy,” added another.
