Mumbai Rain Meme Fest: Mumbai saw heavy rain that caused big problems on Monday morning. Roads were full of water, traffic was stuck, and people had trouble reaching work or school. Trains and flights also got delayed because of the rain. But while the city was struggling, people on the internet were having fun. As soon as the rain started, social media was flooded with funny memes and jokes. Mumbaikars used humour to deal with the messy situation. The words 'Mumbai rain' started trending as everyone began sharing funny posts online.
Later in the day, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, visited rain-hit areas in Thane and talked to disaster teams about the emergency plan. The weather department (IMD) said more heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning could happen in some areas.
