Mumbai Woman Shares Blinkit Free Ambulance Story: Sometimes, help shows up from the most unexpected places. In the quiet hours of the night, when panic is high and options are limited, one woman found support where she least expected it, through a quick commerce app. An Instagram user named Praachii shared a deeply emotional experience from a 4 am emergency in Delhi. While she currently lives in Mumbai, she received a frightening call from her family early in the morning.

Her aunt, who lives with them in Delhi, was having a seizure, and despite trying, they couldn’t get a cab at that hour. In the video she posted online, Praachii explained how helpless she felt being in another city during such a serious moment. "It was one of the most difficult mornings I’ve had. I woke up at four in the morning to a call from my family in Delhi. I currently stay in Mumbai, and they told me that my aunt, who stays with us, was having a seizure and they weren’t able to book a cab."

With no other option left, she decided to try Blinkit. To her surprise, the app sent an ambulance, and it arrived on time. Even more shocking for her was the fact that the service was completely free. She shared that she was ready to pay, but Blinkit didn’t charge anything. "There was this whole discretionary note saying, ‘Please use this service only if you actually need it,’ and as soon as I booked it, it was free of cost. I honestly wouldn’t have minded paying for the service because when a family member is in need, you really, really need help."

Praachii also spoke about the emotional relief the service gave her during that moment. "I know we live in a very privileged world and often take things for granted, but the fact that there was an ambulance at my doorstep when I could not even be there, I felt that I could at least help my family a little during that time, even though I was in a completely different city."

Ending her post, she thanked Blinkit for thinking beyond regular deliveries and creating something that truly helps in emergencies. She wrote, "I’m still in shock, but I just want to thank Blinkit for even thinking of and bringing out this service."
