Nationwide Mock Drill: On May 7, 2025, India had planned mock drills in 244 districts, but that wasn’t the full story. In the early morning, around 1:44 AM, the Indian Army launched a surprise strike targeting nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, as part of Operation Sindoor.

The strikes were sharp, focused, and didn’t target any Pakistani military sites. While the action was serious, social media had a field day. People began sharing funny memes, joking that the “mock drill” was actually a “surprise test during games period!" People shared everything from hilarious air raid siren jokes to Bollywood-style war memes, turning the tension-filled day into a mix of pride and humour.
